What is a Bail Bond Premium?

A Bail Bond premium is the fractional amount paid to a bail bondsmen instead of covering the entire bail amount as set by the court system.

More times than not, families cannot cover the full amount of the bail set forth by the court, and so they utilize a bail bonds service to help free their loved ones. For an agreed upon bond fee, also known as the premium, the bail bondsman assumes responsibility of the full bail amount and makes sure that the defendant shows up to all court appearances.

Typically, in most cities across the country the bail premium is 10%. Ask one of our agents for a FREE quote today!
